A cloudy or blue eye is one of those presentations where the list of possible causes is long and the consequences of picking the wrong one are not evenly distributed. Some of what sits behind it can wait for a routine appointment. Some of it is losing sight while the owner is in the waiting room.
Richard’s session works through how to read the presentation in front of you and what each interpretation means for what you do next.
Beyond the X-ray: the importance of advanced cross-sectional imaging and endoscopy in respiratory cases, a case-based approach

Respiratory and nasal cases are where radiography most often runs out of road. A chest or skull radiograph can be unremarkable in a patient who turns out to have a mass, a foreign body or destructive disease, and the gap between those answers changes the conversation with the owner completely.
Vicky is presenting with Emma Corbett, an advanced practitioner with a specialty in imaging including CT, and the session is built around real cases rather than a review of the literature. It is the same combination we run here: CT and endoscopy under one anaesthetic, with the imager reading the scan while the patient is still under.
